I have a slight shoe obsession

...and these are my latest "victim" - Sam & Libby Whimsy Satin Flower Mary Janes. They are available in both the blush/ivory and black.


After my parent's anniversary dinner on Saturday, mom, SIL, and I convinced the boys to drop us off at DSW (a.k.a. shoe HEAVEN). I found the Sam & Libbys and fell head over heels (literally) in love. I wore them while I was looking at other shoes (hehe). I have nothing to wear them with, but I can't stop thinking about them! Is it wrong to buy the shoes, then buy the outfit?

P.S. I had SIL go back and get them tonight...*blush*

I feel like Dorothy - without the ruby red slippers

Why is it when you are searching for something, it is near impossible to find?? I am dying for a pair of red peep toe heels to wear with a black & white print dress for my bridal shower. I found a pair on eBay, but the seller's price is a little higher than I'd like to spend. They are perfect though...I might crack and buy them...unless I find a better pair. Has anyone seen any around? *fingers crossed*

FINALLY - My Shoes :)

After almost 2 months of searching, I've finally found my shoes. They are perfect with my dress (they are more gold in real life). And with some trusty Foot Petals, they will be perfect for my feet. Ahhh...one more item to check off my list. Yay!

Shoes definitely make the outfit

Much like Shannon (Miss HoneyDew), I absolutely love the idea of colored shoes for a little surprise/splash of color; however, my mom vetoed the idea of my wearing red shoes (darn!). Realizing that she was right, and that red shoes wouldn't go very well with my dress, I turned my search to gold shoes. Opinions on these? They are my favorites so far...
