Wedding Wednesday - Mr Jones & Me (literally)!!

Oops...I almost forgot about Wedding Wednesday!! It's been a long day so please forgive me for the lateness of this post.

These are just some of my favorites of Mr Jones and me. It's so incredibly hard to choose just a handful!! We had such an amazing day...and the pictures show it!

More wedding pictures!!!! (YAY)

Mr Jones and I chose to see each other before the ceremony. It's a bit unconventional, but, honestly, when have we ever been conventi0nal?! Added bonus: it helped calm any nerves we had. I know if we hadn't had that time before the ceremony, I probably would have been a blubbering idiot during the vows (or fidgeting around like I had to pee).

Here I come!

Our bridal party was awesome...we truly couldn't have asked for better people to stand beside us as we pledged our love and lives to each other.

My bridesmaids consisted of my sister-in-law, my best friend since I was 2-years-old (MOH), a good from since High School, and a good friend I met through Mr Jones.

The guys seriously crack me up in this picture!

Mr Jones' groomsmen consisted of close friends he's known since grade school. These guys are all top-notch. I'm thankful Mr has such wonderful friends in his life.

Wedding Wednesday - Getting Ready

I'm back!! Did y'all miss me? :)

Sorry I went MIA...again. Things have been busy around here with Mr Jones in grad school...and me trying get used to being a grad school student's wife.

I am (finally) getting around to posting up some of my wedding pictures!! Yay!! I absolutely adored my photographer, Amy Boeve!

Ready, Aim, Shoot (pictures)

Our engagement pictures are tomorrow and I cannot begin to tell you how ridiculously excited I am (yes, I realize I'm a huge dork). I've been waiting a month for this day to come - and it's another month closer to to November 21st. *grin* If I am this excited for e-pics, imagine what am I going to be like for the actual wedding!! I'm really looking forward to meeting our photographer. I truly think we will have a blast with her!

After many outfit changes, I think I've finally decided on our tops (jeans are another story, but that'll be figured out tomorrow).

Both Mr Jones and I ate lightly today (don't want to be bloated for the pictures!). Lunch was ham and turkey sandwiches w/ carrots on the side and dinner was fresh spinach salad w/ carrots, mushrooms, and bean sprouts. Both were very yummy! I confess that I did eat some Oreos for dessert though. *blush*

Why I love him... (photographer related)

After a few days of searching, I was referred to an amazing photographer. Her pictures are exactly what I've dreamed of...and Mr Jones was impressed which means a lot because I trust his opinion 100%. I, of course, contacted her immediately and waited (not so) patiently to hear if she was available for our wedding.

Well, she called back on Monday and she is available...yay! I am SO excited to meet her/work with her that I feel like a giddy little school girl. I have a feeling we will get along really well. Because she's located in Grand Rapids, she offered to do our e-pics on the same day Mr Jones and I drove out to meet her. The challenge was finding a day that worked for all of us. Unfortunately, the day she is available is the same weekend Mr Jones is moving into our new apartment. Boo.

Here's why I love him. When I told him she was only available on the 19th, he replied, "Well, if that's what you want to do, I can stay up late on Saturday (the 18th) so we can go meet her on Sunday. It wouldn't be easy, but I'd do it for you." Awwww. (Insert sappy love music here.)

P.S. Our meeting/e-pics are scheduled for August 2nd. I can't wait. :)
