We think most of us realize by now that taking a straight-on photo of someone is usually not the best choice for portrait photography. Boring! :)
Unusual angles are fun and cool...and they make your photo stand out from the rest of the pack.
For this week's photo challenge, we are focusing on unusual angles. Stand higher than your subject, lay on the ground, move to the side, tilt your camera while you are shooting...do what you need to do to give your photo a uniqueness of it's own. A unique angle is what this week is all about.
First of all, what a FUN topic! I truly love the creativity of the entries...they certainly show how a new, fresh perpective can add something special to a picture.
Mr Jones capture this image on a sunny May day in 2008. He had just gotten a new camera and wanted to play around with some of the features. Lucky for him, my brother and sis-in-law were more than happy to be his models.
For this one, he decided to use his wide angle lens and shoot laying flat on his back. The results were fabulous. This picture quickly became their favorite...and for good reason!

Awesome photo! Why can't I take pictures like this? Yes, I'm pouting. Sigh...so far to go! :)
